We take our hats off to the first person who decided that mint and chocolate would be the perfect combo. After all, there’s little about that bright-green, leafy plant that shouts “take me to the chocolate!”—though, come to think of it, whoever looked at a cacao pod in the 17 th century and thought “hmm, I bet that would taste great when fermented, dried, and mixed with cocoa butter and sugar!” also deserves some serious credit.
