Mostaccioli is a smooth, thick, tube-shaped pasta, similar to Penne, with angled ends cut to resemble a quill or pen point.
Mostaccioli’s smooth surface is an ideal partner with robust, flavorful sauces, and often used in baked pasta casseroles.
Semolina (wheat), Durum Wheat Flour. Vitamins/minerals: Vitamin B3 (niacin), Iron (ferrous Sulfate), Vitamin B1 (thiamine Mononitrate), Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), Folic Acid.
1. Bring 4 - 6 quarts of water to a rolling boil, add salt to taste.
2. Add contents of package to boiling water. Stir gently.
3. Return to a boil. For authentic "al dente" pasta, boil uncovered, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes. For more tender pasta, boil an additional 1 minute.
4. Remove from heat. Drain well.
5. Serve immediately with your favorite Barilla sauce.
