Heritage Vines Zinfandel is a passion project for our family winery and represents our dedication to what has become California's signature grape varietal. We began the development of heritage vines as an experimental project in the 1980s to preserve the tradition and heritage of historic, old vine Zinfandel vineyards. By grafting Budwood from century-old vines onto mew rootstock, we cultivated delicious, balanced Zinfandel fruit with the deep, brooding characteristics of heirloom vines. Vineyard location: Hillside & benchland. Soil: Clay loam. Origin: Historic old vines. Est.1972. Family-owned and sustainably farmed.
