Bieler Family Born to Run Cabernet Sauvignon is the culmination of Charles Bieler’s last 20 years – piecing together his origin story and tradition-bending blend of two states where he’s been producing wine for a decade-plus each. He had always remarked that the black fruit and structure of Washington Cabernet Sauvignon would be well complimented by the softer, lush, red fruit profile from California. Cross-state blending is rarely done in a quality way, but Charles is un-deterred.
• Rich, soft California Cabernet Sauvignon blended with dark, brooding, and structured Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington State.
• Ripe fruit flavors, natural acidity and complexity. A gorgeous blend that's all its own and more complex than its parts.
• Wine Enthusiast 90 pts & Best Buy (V2018)
• Serve this gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon with steak and semi-hard cheeses such as aged cheddar or gouda.
• The Washington State vineyards are located on the edge of Red Mountain in Columbia Valley.
• California vineyards are older vines from Lodi, which allows for ripe fruit flavors, natural acidity & complexity. The wine was aged in some oak. This Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% American: 50% from the Columbia Valley in Washington State, 50% from California. The fruit was fermented whole berry & on skins for 35 days.
• One 750mL wine bottle of Bieler Family Cabernet Sauvignon, 13.4% ABV, Cork
Contains sulfites.
