Medicinal Ingredient Each Capsule Contains 5 X 10 to the Power of 9 (5 Billion) CPUs of Saccharomyces Boulardii Lyo Strain CNCM l-745 (Equivalent to 250 mg). Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Lactose Monohydrate, Magnesium Stearate, Hydroxypropyl-Methylcellulose and Less than Half of 1% Titanium Dioxide.
Directions
Recommended Use: Can promote a favorable gut flora to help support gastrointestinal health. Helps prevent antibiotic-associated diarrhea in adults. Helps to treat acute diarrhea (infectious) in children. Helps reduce the symptoms related to acute diarrhea (infectious) in adults. Recommended Doses: Adults: Take 2 capsules daily (2 capsules can be taken 1-3 times a day, up to a maximum of 6 capsules). Children (1-12 years of age): Take 2 capsules twice per day.
Store at 15-30 degrees C in dry area. No need to refrigerate.
Warnings
May contain traces of soy. Cautions and Warnings: Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. Diarrhea) occur, worsen or persist beyond 3 days. Do not open the capsules in the surrounding of patients having a central venous catheter. Lactose intolerance. Do not use if you have an immune compromised condition (e.g. Aids, lymphoma, long-term corticosteroid treatment). Consult a health care practitioner prior to use of this drug if you have an abnormal condition of the gastrointestinal tract lining (i.e. Ulcer or other Gl tract disorders). Do not use if you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain. Treatment does not replace rehydration when this is necessary. Contraindications: Do not use if you have hypersensitivity to any component of the product (especially allergy to yeast) or if you have a central venous catheter. Known adverse reactions: Rarely: Flatulence, pruritus, rash, angioedema. Very rarely: anaphylactic reaction. Do not use if seal is broken.
