Ingredients

Lentil Flour, Wheat Flour, Partially Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil Shortening (Palmolein Oil & Sesame Oil), Salt, Sodium Bicarbonate & Citric Acid (Raising Agents), Asafoetida and Butylated Hydroxyanisole (Preservative).


Directions

Step 1: Mix in water. Step 2: Shape like doughnut. Step 3: Fry. 1. Mix contents of this pack with 7-1/2 fl oz (220 ml) water to form a soft dough. Set a side for 10-15 minutes. Tip: For spicier taste add chopped ginger, green chillies & coriander leaves to the dough. 2. Divide the dough into 18 parts. Mold each part into a doughnut shape. Add a little water, if required. 3. Heat 17 fl oz (500 ml) oil in a deep pan. Oil temperature should be such that a pinch of dough rises quickly to the surface. Deep fry the Medu Vadais on medium heat till crispy and golden brown.
