You Will Need: 1 large egg; 1 tablespoon water; 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened; sugar for rolling (optional). Butter can be replaced with any non-dairy alternative. 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. 2. In a large bowl, beat the cookie mix, butter, egg and water, until smooth. 3. If dough is too soft, wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30-60 minutes. Drop dough onto the cookie sheet, using a rounded tablespoon or roll dough into balls. Roll into sugar, if desired. 4. Bake 10-12 minutes or until cookies are slightly firm around the edges. Centers will be soft.
