Wheat Flour (wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid).


Directions

2 1/4 cups Bob's Red Mill All-purpose Flour. 1/2 tsp Baking powder. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1/2 tsp salt. 3/4 cup butter. 1 cup sugar. 1 Egg. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 2 tbsp lemon juice. Zest of 1 Lemon. 1/4 cup sparkling sugar. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. In a small bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar until combined, then add egg. Add vanilla extract, lemon juice and lemon zest, then mix in the dry ingredients until combined. Scoop cookies and roll the tops in sparkling sugar. Place 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets and bake until edges are just golden, about 12 minutes. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then remove to a cooling rack. Makes 24 cookies. Bob's Old Fashioned Biscuits: 2 cups Bob's Red Mill All-Purpose Flour. 1 Tbsp Baking Powder. 1 Tbsp Sugar. 1 tsp Salt. 6 Tbsp Butter. 1 cup Milk. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F . Whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in butter with pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Slowly add milk and stir until dough just comes together. Dough will be wet and sticky. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead 15 times. Gently roll or pat dough to 1 inch thick. Cut biscuits with a 3-inch biscuit cutter. Place biscuits on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 6 big biscuits. Set oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper (or foil), leaving the edges hanging over the sides of the pan. Spray with cooking spray. In a bowl, microwave chocolate and butter for 30 seconds. Stir and microwave for another 30 seconds. Stir and repeat until melted. Whisk in cocoa powder until smooth and set aside to cool. For peanut butter swirl, combine melted butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, salt and vanilla in a bowl and stir until smooth. Set aside. In a large bowl, whisk sugar, salt, vanilla and eggs until combined. Whisk melted chocolate mixture into egg mixture. Stir in the flour until just combined. Do not over-mix. Pour mixture into the prepared pan. Drop dollops of peanut butter mixture on top of brownie batter. Use a butter knife to swirl in the peanut butter. Bake 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out mostly clean. Cool on a wire rack for 1 hour. Remove from pan using liner. Makes 16 brownies.
